An opaque insert is recommended for iPhone colors that may alter the appearance of the designs on the case. For example, a case design will not appear correctly on a colored iPhone. (This includes purple, yellow, green, black, red, space grey, gold, rose gold, etc. iPhone colors.)
For silver or white iPhones, the transparent option is recommended.
